X3 General

• Overall performance has been significantly improved:
  
  • Housekeeping has been done: System updates were installed, and legacy code was analyzed and sustainably improved.
  • CloudLab Settings have been relocated to the Data Center.
  • Caching mechanisms have been optimized.
  • Code has been reduced and summarized to reduce classes, queries, and loops.
• Microservice Architecture: Version X3 is built on a segmented structure for increased flexibility and scalability – for example through the new PIM. This allows faster adaptation to specific requirements and easier integration with external systems (API).
• Extensions: New integrations available for Shopify, BigCommerce, and Shopware.
• Admin Sidebar Menu: Now more compact for easier navigation.
• Data Center Theme Workflow: New option to easily create and manage themes for the Online Designer and Matrix, including advanced color customization options.
• Framework Updates: Now running on Laravel 11 and Magento 2.4.7.

X3 PIM/Products

• New PIM (Product Management Tool): All products are now hosted in a centralized microservice.
• Flexible Product Types: Ability to define product types per product part, allowing different page options for each part to avoid unnecessary hide page options on web product level.
• Enhanced File Management: Factsheets, photomapping, and image options can now be uploaded directly to the Data Center.
• Removing Page Options: It’s possible now to remove newly created page options directly from the Data Center.
• Matrix Cache for non Magento Systems: Product configuration can now be cached for other e-commerce solutions than Magento. 
• Custom Notes on Product Page: Added the possibility to add custom notes on the product page that can be carried over into the print selection process.

X3 Designer

• New UI Design: Updated look for the X3 Designer, product matrix, form editor, and the packaging tools.
• New Mobile Design for our Designer: Fully responsive design eliminates the need for a separate mobile version, streamlining feature maintenance.
• Revised design tools in the Designer: New grid, ruler, transparency control and rotation tools.
• Template Gallery in Designer: The Template Gallery can now be integrated directly into the Designer menu via configuration.
• Exclusive Image Gallery: Thanks to a new cooperation between depositphotos and CloudLab, we offer your customers a premium image database with over 1.4 million royalty-free, high-resolution images in our Designer for free.
• Labels & Stickers Editor: A new feature in the online designer for stickers that automatically analyzes uploaded images to create kiss cuts, including an updated 3D preview reflecting the final shape.
• Dynamic 3D for Flat Products: The ability to auto-create 3D previews for flat products, including folding animations and material rendering — no static models required.
• AI Designer Suite: New functionalities in online designer include background remover, crispifier, vectorizer, monochromizer, and embroidery visualization.

• Customer-Specific ECMA & FEFCO Box Library: New functionality added to distribute customer notes and allow making changes to die cuts. 
• 3D Preview: Optimized the realistic 3D preview and improved animation performance for a smoother and more detailed user experience.
• Packaging Optimization: Enhanced folding processes and configuration rules for existing box models.
• Improved User Guidance: Centralized die cut download, editor access, and order process initiation in a single location for easier accessibility.
